Diagnostic Evaluation

Whether you are changing dentists, or have not seen a dentist in many years, you can expect a thorough examination to evaluate your smile and current dental condition. Then we will sit down with you and share your options to determine the best plan for your situation.

Fillings

A dental "filling" is a common procedure used to restore teeth. A filling is used when we need to restore tooth structure that has become fractured or decayed. For many years, amalgam/metal fillings were the only choice. As those fillings wear down, we can now replace them with a new tooth colored composite filling. These fillings match the color of your teeth for a natural look and feel.

Hygiene

Regular visits to the dentist are integral to dental health success. Our dental hygienists help our patients maintain oral health throughout their lives. With advanced techniques and consistent care, we are able to achieve greater levels of dental health and significantly improve comfort during treatment and most importantly between dental visits.

Endodontics (Root Canals)

Nerve damaged teeth are an all too common occurrence. Deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the same tooth, and blunt force trauma (even a very old injury) are some of the causes. By saving the tooth through endodontic treatment, you also protect the bone, which supports the tooth root. Besides saving your tooth, our dentists can prevent and remove pain.

Crown and Bridge

Crowns are permanent coverings that fit over your original tooth. Crowns are needed when teeth have become badly decayed, or when a tooth is damaged to the point where it cannot be easily fixed through the use of a filling. Crowns are made of a variety of different materials such as porcelain, gold, acrylic resin or a mix of these materials. The choice of material depends on various factors including the best clinical outcome and your esthetic goals. Your new crown will improve both your appearance and your confidence. With proper care, your crown can last a lifetime.

A bridge is used when we find healthy teeth on both sides of a space caused by a missing tooth. A bridge is oftentimes used to prevent shifting of existing teeth, and to safeguard the integrity of existing teeth.

Dentures and Other Removable Prosthedontics

Although fixed prosthodontics such as crowns, bridgework, and dental implants, can be used instead of dentures and partials, there are still many patients for whom removable prosthodontics are still the best option. Molds and impressions are used to build a realistic and natural-looking prosthetic device. Whether it is a partial or a full denture, our goal is to create the best removable appliance possible.

Extractions

Our main goal is to always try to save all of your natural teeth. However, there are instances when a tooth has been so badly damaged that there is not enough healthy tooth structure remaining to support any kind of restoration. When this occurs, the only solution left is to remove the tooth. Once extracted it is important to fill the space using a dental implant or a bridge to protect the remaining teeth, and avoid any shifting.

Bleaching

Most teeth darken over time. We offer safe, inexpensive solutions to brighten your smile. Whitening your teeth is a very simple procedure that can be completed in relatively short period of time. We also offer take-home smile whitening kits to help your smile shine again. Our whitening kits work more effectively than those sold over the counter. They have been proven to improve the color of your teeth quickly and effectively.

Implants

Losing a tooth can increase the decline of overall dental health. A missing tooth can cause nearby teeth to wear more quickly and can cause bone structure to weaken and shrink. Our dental office can help you replace your missing tooth with a lifelike implant that can last a lifetime. Through a teamwork approach, that utilizes a highly trained oral surgeon, our restorative expertise finalizes fixed or removable dentistry and helps you achieve a more confident smile.
